Groupage

The term Groupage in international trade denotes a particular type of shipment.
It consists of bringing together and grouping small consignments from different consignors in a given country and addressed to different consignees in another country.

Obviously, in this type of operation the figure of the forwarding agent is fundamental, who is the meeting point for the various consignors and the point where the cargo is grouped and, on arrival, divided again.

This solution allows companies to reduce costs and the forwarder to make maximum use of the available resources.
Thus, only when the maximum capacity is reached does the transport vehicle leave to reach the destinations and complete the shipment.

Our team, in loading, considers both the mass characteristics of the goods to avoid damage along the transport, and the intrinsic characteristics of the contained goods to avoid incompatible pairings with each other under legal and/or commodity points of view.
